Hideaway Policies

       For your convenience, a monthly invoice will be sent to your email, 7 days before the 1st of the month, containing an option to pay online. The payment is due on the 1st of the month. We allow a grace period of 5 days before: charging a non-negotiable $30 late fee, placing a red lock on the unit and suspending the gate code. A new invoice will be sent and the amount can be paid online, or in person: with a credit card, cash or money order. Upon payment all privileges are restored. No food or chemicals may be stored in the units. No living creature may be kept in any storage unit. No overnight stays. EVER.

      If your unit is occupied on the first of the month, you owe that month’s rent. Monthly rent begins on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month. We do not prorate rent. To move out, please contact our office 2 weeks before moving out. The unit must be trash free, swept, and the lock removed by the last day of the month or the next month's rent will be charged. If the unit has not been properly evacuated and still contains items/trash, a $70 cleaning fee will be charged. The bill with late fees will be charged monthly until the bill is paid. 

      We do not require that you have insurance on your possessions but encourage you to evaluate the value of the contents in your unit to discern if you need insurance in case of an unforeseen incident.

 

* Not paying your rent for over 3 months is abandonment. An email will be sent to inform you that by not paying, you forfeit your rights to the contents of your unit.
