1. Are my contents covered by insurance?
Hideaway only covers the buildings, not the contents of the units. All personal property owned by the tenant would need to be covered by renters insurance, purchased by the tenant. See "Renters Insurance" page for a list of providers
2. Is the property secure?
Our property is secured by a chain link fence with barbed wire around the entire perimeter. It is monitored by recorded 24 hour security cameras. We have ballpark lighting for added security. The gate is electronically controlled by individual PIN numbers for each tenant. A code is needed for entry and exit, for added security. Anyone following renters in will not be able to exit without a code.
3. What type of lock should I get?
We recommend you get a shrouded disc padlock for additional safety. They cannot be removed by bolt cutters. These can be found at:

4. What is the minimum time frame I can rent a storage unit?
Our minimum storage unit rental is 3 months. Minimum vehicle/boat/trailer parking space rental is 3 months.
5. Can I get a discount for longer term rentals?
Please ask us when you call what the current special is for longer term rentals.
6. What hours can I access my storage unit?
We offer 24 hour access to all units.
7. When are rent payments due?
All rent payments are due on the 1st of each month. Late fees will apply if the payments are not received by the 5th.
8. What do I need to do if I’m ready to move out of my unit?
Call our office 10 days in advance of when you plan to move. Please be sure to be out by the 1st of the month to avoid any additional charges.
9. What things are prohibited in my unit?
Anything flammable (gas, oil, fireworks, etc.), toxic or poisonous or hazardous material, food, fertilizers, animals, parties, gatherings, lodging, sales from the space, anything that violates criminal codes or other laws. For a full list of items, please refer to the rental contract.

10. What do I need to rent a unit?
New renters need to provide a current drivers license, passport, DMV issued ID, or military ID, a credit card and guaranteed funds for the initial 1st month's rent (may include prorated current month amount depending on move in date).
